1962 Awards
 MVP
In 1962, Peoria outfielder Willie Mays joined Mickey Mantle and former Peoria Chief Ted Kluszewski as the only repeat winners of the AARBL MVP award.  Playing for the 103 win Chiefs, Mays was the driving force behind Peoria's Eastern Division crown, and its return to the AARBL World Series.  Mays compiled a .294 batting average, while finishing second in the league with 51 home runs, and a league best 159 RBI and 136 runs scored.  In the voting, Mays was a unanimous choice, receiving all 14 of the league's first place votes.  He easily bested fellow slugger Hank Aaron of the Kansas City Athletics for the league's most coveted award.

 Rolaids Reliever
For the third time in league history, and the second consecutive season, Hoyt Wilhelm of the Hill Valley Lightning Bolts is the winner of the Rolaids Reliever award.  Pitching for a Hill Valley team that was not as dominant as in years past, Wilhelm still had plenty of opportunities to preserve Hill Valley victories as he appeared in a league best 81 games.  Wilhelm accumulated 126 Rolaids Relief points, one better than runner up Roy Face and 45 saves, good for second best in the league behind Face.  Wilhelm also compiled a  5-5 record with a 2.83 E.R.A.
